The Sheraton brand, part of Marriott’s expansive portfolio, has been a place for guests to gather and connect since 1937, operating more than 400 communities worldwide. Sheraton associates form a global community that thrives on creating welcoming and engaging experiences characterized by thoughtful service and a sense of belonging.

This Management position in Sales and Marketing is located at 601 W McKinley Ave, Pomona, California, and is a full-time role. The annual salary range for this position is $70,304 to $90,000, with eligibility for bonuses based on performance. The role requires a candidate to drive revenue growth by proactively identifying and soliciting business across various market segments, particularly focusing on local small business accounts and corporate business opportunities relevant to the hotels represented. The candidate will work in close partnership with Property Sales Leaders, General Managers, and other sales teams, including local sales and national/global account sales, to implement competitive sales strategies and maximize hotel production.

The Sales Executive is responsible for executing lead generation efforts, account solicitation, and relationship-building activities that increase market share and contribute directly to the hotel’s topline goals. This includes coordinating internal mining efforts to uncover new business opportunities, revisiting past leads, and leveraging proprietary sales and marketing planning tools. The role also involves active participation in community and hotel networking events to expand the outreach and foster ongoing customer relationships. Additionally, the candidate must track sales activities and analyze trends to adjust priorities and ensure alignment with market demands and competitor positioning.

This position demands strong collaboration with multiple sales channels and adherence to Marriott’s service and relationship standards to ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the hospitality industry’s business segments including group, transient, and catering markets. They will be proficient in using sales and marketing technology platforms such as CRM systems and sales forecasting tools to maintain accurate customer data and manage the sales funnel effectively. This Sales Executive role embodies Marriott’s core values of inclusivity, community engagement, and service excellence, and offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading global hospitality company dedicated to career growth and making meaningful guest connections.
