Committed to excellence, our hotel prides itself on maintaining a successful and profitable operation by fostering strong relationships with its clientele and community. With a focus on innovation and a passion for hospitality, we aim to remain a distinguished choice for travelers and event planners alike. We are dedicated to providing a collaborative and supportive working environment that nurtures growth, creativity, and professionalism among our team members. Our commitment extends beyond hospitality to include active participation in community activities and industry functions, underscoring our role as a respected local and industry leader.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Sales to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and solicitation of business from diverse markets to ensure the hotel achieves the necessary bookings for a flourishing operation. The Director of Sales will oversee the entire sales department, including sales managers, trainees, interns, and administrative staff, ensuring that the department functions effectively and meets the hotel's strategic goals. This leadership position demands excellent communication skills to direct solicitation efforts, manage rate, date, and space commitments, and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to potential clients. Regular travel may be required to entertain and meet with clients, elevating the hotel's presence and client relationships.
The Director of Sales will also be responsible for administering training, conducting performance reviews, and maintaining a high standard of performance within the sales team. Developing and executing computerized annual marketing plans in response to current market conditions is an essential part of the role, alongside compiling and directing comprehensive sales reports such as forecasts, marketing budgets, lead management, and booking reports. This individual will guide the sales team through sales expectations by organizing and attending meetings, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring that the hotel’s marketing strategies remain competitive and innovative. Additionally, participation in community and industry activities will maintain the hotel’s active and visible position locally while reinforcing its commitment to integrity and professionalism in all dealings. This position requires a hands-on leader dedicated to continuous improvement and achieving outstanding sales results.
