Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hotel or hospitality sales management
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a diverse sales team
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to travel as needed for client meetings and events
- Commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism

- Proven experience in sales leadership within the hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing sales reports and forecasts
- Skilled in leading and motivating sales teams to achieve targets
- Capable of conducting persuasive sales presentations
- Experience with budget development and financial forecasting
- Familiarity with travel industry trends and market research
Job Duties
- Supervise sales managers, trainees, interns, and administrative staff
- Direct solicitation efforts and oversee rate, date, and space commitments for group room sales and catering
- Administer staffing, training, and performance reviews for the sales department
- Compile and direct preparation of sales operation reports including forecasts, marketing budgets, and booking reports
- Coordinate market research and develop marketing strategies based on industry trends
- Develop and conduct persuasive sales presentations and promote hotel programs
- Organize and lead sales meetings, challenge team to meet sales expectations
- Assist with the development of the hotel’s annual budget using group and transient forecasts
- Maintain active and visible participation in the local community and hospitality industry
- Participate in community activities, associate functions, and guest events
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional integrity and honesty
