Job Description

Legend Senior Living is a distinguished family business with over 30 years of dedication to providing exceptional senior living communities. Recognized as a certified Great Place To Work for seven consecutive years, this company prides itself on delivering a high standard of service, care, and quality living environments for its residents. Legend Senior Living continues to expand rapidly, adding multiple properties annually while maintaining awards such as Best of Senior Living and Innovative Programming in Senior Living. The company fosters a supportive and enriching work culture, emphasizing associate growth opportunities, continuous education, and holistic wellness programming. This environment helps both residents and employees thrive, making it a remarkable place to live and work alike.

The Sales Director plays a pivotal role in the success of each residence by leading its sales efforts and marketing initiatives. This position entails developing community outreach programs that foster awareness and generate referral sources from local organizations and community members. The Sales Director is responsible for conducting tours for prospective residents and their families, ensuring they feel supported and informed as they make important decisions about long-term care options. This leadership role also involves planning and executing lead-generating events, maintaining occupancy goals within budgetary limits, and meticulously documenting all sales activities to optimize performance.

In addition to primary sales duties, the Sales Director may occasionally fulfill other critical roles such as acting as Manager-On-Duty on a rotating schedule and assisting with special programs like the 100 Hours/100 Days initiative. Effective communication with prospective residents, their families, and staff members is essential to creating a welcoming and transparent environment. Compliance with company policies, procedural guidelines, and safety protocols is mandatory to maintain the community's high standards.

The company offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package to its full-time associates, which includes bonus eligibility based on performance, a cell phone allotment, mileage reimbursement, medical/dental/vision insurance for benefit-eligible employees, company-paid life insurance, voluntary benefits like hospital indemnity and accident insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with discretionary matching, paid time off, holiday pay, a discretionary scholarship program, and regular performance evaluations tied to raises.

Legend Senior Living’s commitment to an elegant and vibrant community experience is reflected in its holistic wellness offerings, gold leaf dining standards, and life enrichment activities tailored to resident needs. Beyond just a workplace, the company cultivates a "home away from home" atmosphere for both residents and associates. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic, people-oriented leader who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of seniors and their families through impactful sales leadership and community engagement.
