Job Description

Breakthru Beverage Group is a leading distributor of alcoholic beverages, operating across the United States and Canada. Committed to providing a comprehensive portfolio of wine, spirits, and beer products, the company partners with leading brands and local producers to meet the needs of a broad range of customers. With an extensive network of warehouses, sales offices, and delivery routes, Breakthru Beverage Group focuses on delivering exceptional service and fostering strong business relationships. The company values innovation, teamwork, and integrity, aiming to create a supportive and inclusive work environment. Offering competitive compensation and benefits, Breakthru Beverage Group invests in employee development to support career growth within the sales and distribution industry.

The Sales Development Associate position at Breakthru Beverage Group is a full-time role within the Sales job family. This role is designed to support the company's sales operations by covering route segments that are temporarily without dedicated sales representatives. The primary responsibility involves calling on accounts and managing daily routes efficiently to ensure product availability, merchandising, and route management objectives are met. The role is pivotal in driving volume and profit growth in assigned accounts while maintaining high standards of customer service and product presentation.

Sales Development Associates are expected to strategize and preplan to achieve sales and merchandising goals, maintain accurate records of account purchasing history, and ensure product levels are optimized through inventory management and restocking activities. Additionally, the role requires ensuring brand visibility through the effective use of point-of-sale materials and managing customer interactions, including handling issues or complaints when necessary. In some markets, associates may also be responsible for obtaining payments. This position demands attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a customer-focused approach.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $23.00, a monthly car allowance of $200, and a company-issued fuel card to support travel needs. It also provides eligibility for comprehensive benefits including health care, life insurance, paid time off, and participation in the company’s 401(k) plan. Breakthru Beverage Group prides itself on fostering an inclusive workplace and encourages applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences. The Sales Development Associate position is ideal for individuals seeking to start or advance their careers in sales within a dynamic, fast-paced environment that values results and customer satisfaction.
