The position of Event Planning and Coordination Manager involves managing all facets of event and activation planning sold through our Sales, Marketing, and Partnership Teams. This management role requires supervising diverse event categories such as corporate gatherings, educational workshops, press conferences, sponsorship initiatives, and client activation events. The ideal candidate will be tasked with overseeing the detailed requirements, needs, and deadlines associated with each event, ensuring that every aspect is aligned with the company’s standards and client expectations. This role demands a proactive leader skilled in multitasking, resource allocation, and team coordination to guarantee the flawless execution of events from conception to completion. The individual will work closely with various internal teams and external partners to maintain high service levels and to troubleshoot any challenges that arise promptly. Job Requirements

  • minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of professional event management experience
  • strong communication and multitasking skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • proficiency in event-related technology platforms
  • capacity to lead and motivate a team

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing, hospitality, or a related field preferred
  • proven experience in event planning and coordination
  • strong project management and organizational skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • proficiency with event management software and tools
  • leadership and team supervision experience

Job Duties

  • manage event planning and coordination for corporate, educational, press, sponsorship, and client events
