This position is designed to manage all facets of planning and coordination for events and activations that are sold by the Sales, Marketing, and Partnership Teams at Six Flags. The role focuses on supervising a wide variety of events including corporate gatherings, educational sessions, press events, sponsorship activations, client engagements, and more. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing detailed requirements, needs, and deadlines, ensuring smooth execution from conception through completion. This includes coordinating with park operations teams to deliver best-in-class event experiences, managing event calendars, and handling digital signage and promotional materials.
This role demands exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and the aptitude to adapt rapidly to changing circumstances. The position also requires strong interpersonal skills to maintain consistent communication with multiple departments such as Group Sales, Marketing, In-Park Services, and Operations. Additionally, the role functions as an onsite contact for guests during events, troubleshoots issues as they arise, and ensures all event specifications and standards set by Six Flags are met. Job Requirements
- Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years experience in entertainment, food and beverage, or hospitality industry
- Experience working with banquets, corporate private or special events
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Manage events and activations operations for scheduled in-park events
- Conduct digital signage checks for corporate partners, manage, and keep photo documentation
- Ensure effective coordination with park operations teams to deliver best-in-class pre, during, and post-event execution
- Maintains park event calendar, ensures data accuracy, and makes any necessary adjustments
- Oversees planning and execution of Event Orders, including food and beverage arrangements and processing payment as needed to ensure client needs are met
- Manages multiple events simultaneously making rapid adjustments as required to ensure event success in a fast-paced environment
- Manage communication consistently throughout the day to Group Sales/Event Management, Marketing, In-Park Services, and Operations related to daily event details
