This role primarily involves providing administrative and operational support to the sales and marketing teams, ensuring smooth execution of various sales processes and contributing to the overall promotion of the brand image. Responsibilities include managing general office tasks such as filing, emailing, transcribing information, faxing, and photocopying, as well as preparing important sales documents like proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders. The role supports relationship-building efforts by serving as a key contact point for clients, responding to their inquiries professionally via telephone and email, and facilitating communications that enhance guest loyalty to the Marriott brand.
Attention to detail and proficiency in sales-related software are essential, as this role involves entering, verifying, and reconciling information related to commissions, initiatives, and third-party engagements. Employees also engage with guests by providing information about hotel facilities and services, including activity schedules, rates, room types, promotions, entertainment, dining options, and special events. Job Duties
- perform general office duties to support sales and marketing such as filing emailing transcribing information faxing photocopying

- gather materials and assemble information packages such as brochures and promotional materials
- use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty to Marriott
- enter remove reconcile and verify information such as commissions initiatives and third parties using sales process software
- respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel facilities and services including activity schedules rates room types packages promotions entertainment restaurants special events
- serve as a client contact point communicating by phone and email to answer questions and requests
