Job Description

Winebow is a distinguished company dedicated to the distribution of wine and spirits, fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity within its dynamic workforce. As a leader in the industry, Winebow places strong emphasis on creating an environment where every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered. The organization is committed to maintaining equity in all aspects of employment such as recruiting, hiring, promotion, training, benefits, and wage equality. Winebow’s mission extends beyond distribution; it is about building a welcoming family atmosphere where individuals can bring their authentic selves and contribute their best work in a supportive setting.

The role available is for an experienced marketing and sales professional to develop and execute strategic plans aimed at maximizing wine and spirits distribution in a region with an established or growing customer base. This position involves cultivating lasting relationships with key decision makers, effectively negotiating contracts, and providing education programs to support the company’s product offerings. The job requires collaboration with district and sales management to monitor sales growth and market penetration, utilizing monthly reporting tools for performance analysis. Additionally, the role involves hosting educational events such as tastings, dinners, and pouring events to engage clients and promote product knowledge. Communicating directly with internal departments like accounting and customer service is essential to resolve client-specific issues related to billing, ordering, or shipping within the assigned territory. Meeting set goals punctually and maintaining professionalism in attendance and conduct are critical aspects of the position.

This role is remote but requires attendance at in-office meetings and offsite events to support business objectives. Significant travel is expected, involving various modes of transportation including automobile, airplane, and train, with potential overnight stays. The position also demands physical activity such as lifting up to 45 pounds, bending, sitting, standing, and driving, along with proficient usage of communication and office equipment like telephone, computer or tablet, fax machine, and calculator.

Winebow’s approach ensures that employees are not only equipped with the right tools and skills for success but also supported in a safe and inclusive workplace. Candidates need to have a high school diploma or GED, two years of experience in marketing or sales, preferably within restaurant or wine shop environments, and demonstrated effective communication and computer skills. A valid driver’s license is mandatory due to the travel-intensive nature of the position. The employer reserves the right to assign additional duties as needed and to modify the job description to align with evolving business needs. This position offers a comprehensive opportunity for candidates passionate about wine and spirits sales to grow their careers in a thriving, diversity-driven company.
