Job Description

Winebow is a leading distributor in the wine and spirits industry, dedicated to providing exceptional products and services to a diverse clientele. Founded with a rich history and a passion for excellence, Winebow has established itself as a trusted partner for restaurants, wine shops, and retail businesses looking to enhance their beverage offerings. With a focus on quality, education, and customer satisfaction, Winebow prides itself on its extensive portfolio that includes some of the most renowned and sought-after wine and spirit brands. The company is known for fostering an inclusive and supportive culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that each employee feels respected, valued, and empowered to contribute their best work.

The role at Winebow centers on developing and executing effective marketing and sales strategies to maximize the distribution of wine and spirits within either an established or emerging customer base. This position requires a proactive and strategic individual who can build strong relationships with key decision makers and maintain routine contact to promote Winebow's services. As part of the role, the individual will be responsible for negotiating and managing purchasing agreements, facilitating educational programs, and partnering closely with district management to monitor sales growth and market penetration. The job also involves organizing and participating in wine and spirits education events, tastings, and dinners that enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty. Efficient communication with internal departments such as accounting and customer service is essential to resolve billing or ordering needs. Punctuality and meeting set goals in a timely manner are also critical aspects of the role.

Working at Winebow requires traveling, primarily by automobile but potentially by plane or train for overnight stays, ensuring broad market coverage. The position demands physical tasks like lifting up to 45 pounds and various levels of manual dexterity to operate office equipment effectively. Applicants must hold a valid driver's license and have at least two years of marketing or sales experience, preferably with a background in restaurant or wine shop environments. Demonstrated computer proficiency and strong communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.

Winebow is committed to creating a workplace that reflects the diversity of the communities it serves. The company places a high priority on equitable hiring practices, wage and salary fairness, and providing training and growth opportunities for all employees. This role offers a chance to join a dynamic team within a company that values safety, continuous improvement, and professional development. Winebow emphasizes that while the job description outlines core responsibilities, employees may be expected to undertake other duties as assigned, with an understanding that employment is maintained through mutual consent and not guaranteed by contract.
