The role of Retail Sales Consultant at Mattress Warehouse is designed for motivated and successful individuals who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service and helping customers find the perfect sleep solutions. Sales Consultants utilize the exclusive bedMATCH® diagnostic sleep system that measures 18 points to provide personalized mattress recommendations. This unique technology enables consultants to deliver a tailored shopping experience that significantly enhances customer satisfaction and improves their sleep quality.
Retail Sales Consultants at Mattress Warehouse are expected to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and most holidays, typically comprising a 4-5 day work week totaling 40 to 55 hours. The role demands physical capability, including the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and assist customers with loading their mattress purchases. The job involves using state-of-the-art technology such as tablets and mobile point-of-sale systems, alongside the bedMATCH diagnostic system, to streamline the sales process.
This position requires a friendly, energetic, and team-oriented attitude to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Providing a relaxed, low-pressure, and educational experience to customers is a key responsibility, with a focus on meeting their unique needs and guiding them towards the best product choices. Job Duties
- Assist customers with selecting the right mattress and bedding products using the bedMATCH diagnostic system
- Provide a relaxed, educational, and low-pressure shopping experience

- Reset and maintain the showroom floor
- Assist customers with loading mattresses into their vehicles
