The role available is that of a Retail Sales Consultant, a position that requires highly motivated and successful individuals who thrive in retail environments and are committed to delivering exceptional service. The Retail Sales Consultant will utilize Mattress Warehouse’s cutting-edge bedMATCH diagnostic sleep system, which personalizes mattress recommendations based on 18 different measurements to enhance customers’ sleep quality and satisfaction. This technology-driven, educational sales experience focuses on creating a relaxed and low-pressure shopping atmosphere while providing expert advice on premium mattress and bedding products.
Successfully joining Mattress Warehouse as a Retail Sales Consultant means embracing a career with numerous growth opportunities, including paid training programs, ongoing feedback, and access to an expansive learning library. The typical schedule includes working 4 to 5 days a week, approximately 40 to 55 hours, with the need to cover evenings, most holidays, and weekends. The role involves lifting up to 75 pounds, resetting the showroom floor, and assisting customers with loading mattress purchases.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant retail sales or customer service experience preferred
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Proficient in using technology such as tablets and POS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or other languages is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to maintain a clean and organized showroom
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist customers in selecting mattresses and bedding products that meet their needs and preferences
- Utilize the bedMATCH diagnostic sleep system to provide personalized mattress recommendations
- Maintain and reset the showroom floor to ensure an organized and welcoming environment
- Operate tablets and mobile point of sale (POS) systems to complete sales transactions
- Provide a relaxed, low-pressure, and educational shopping experience
- Assist customers with loading mattress purchases into their vehicles
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge
