The role of a Retail Sales Consultant at Mattress Warehouse is designed for highly motivated sales professionals who are passionate about helping customers find their perfect sleep solutions. Using the company’s exclusive bedMATCH® diagnostic sleep system, which measures 18 parameters to provide personalized mattress recommendations, Sales Consultants offer a tailored and educational shopping experience to customers. This approach not only transforms the sleep quality and satisfaction of customers but also enables Sales Consultants to unlock their full sales potential through an innovative and technology-driven sales process. The position offers a robust compensation package that includes the greater of a generous hourly wage or commission pay, eligibility for bonuses, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a substantial employer match. Additionally, employees benefit from comprehensive insurance options covering medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and AD&D insurance, along with recognition programs and product discounts. Paid time off is also generous, covering vacation, personal, and sick days.
This role requires availability to work a retail schedule including evenings, most holidays, and weekends, with a typical workweek ranging from 40 to 55 hours over 4 to 5 days. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Motivated with a winning team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable using tablets and mobile point of sale systems
- Available to work 40 to 55 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail sales experience preferred

- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish or other languages is a plus
