Retail Sales Consultants at Mattress Warehouse work within a supportive environment that values enthusiasm, high energy, and team-oriented attitudes. The position involves engaging with customers in a low-pressure, relaxed setting, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout the purchasing process. Associates are expected to manage various physical tasks such as lifting mattresses up to 75 pounds, resetting showroom floors, and assisting customers with loading their mattress purchases onto their vehicles.
Moreover, Retail Sales Consultants benefit from advanced technological tools, including tablets, mobile point of sales (POS) systems, and the exclusive bedMATCH system, streamlining the sales process and enhancing customer interaction. The work schedule typically spans 4 to 5 days per week with shifts including evenings, most holidays, and all weekends, offering the opportunity to work between 40 to 55 hours weekly. Bilingual abilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are considered a plus, along with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping customers improve their sleep health.
