The role of Retail Sales Consultant at Mattress Warehouse is designed for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about retail and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Retail Sales Consultants leverage innovative sales tools such as the exclusive bedMATCH® diagnostic sleep system, which uses 18 different measurements to tailor a perfect mattress recommendation to each customer. This technology-driven sales process allows consultants to transform customers' sleep quality and satisfaction by providing personalized product recommendations.
Retail Sales Consultants are expected to provide a relaxed, low-pressure, and educational shopping experience. They assist customers by understanding their individual needs and guiding them through Mattress Warehouse's premium mattress and bedding product offerings. Consultants are also involved in maintaining showroom presentation, helping customers load their mattress purchases, and utilizing state-of-the-art technology including tablets and mobile point of sale systems. The position typically requires a 4 to 5 day work week with availability during evenings, weekends, and most holidays, offering approximately 40 to 55 hours weekly.

- availability to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays
- ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Job Duties
- sell premium mattress and bedding products utilizing the company's proven selling process and bedMATCH diagnostic sleep system
- provide customers with a relaxed, educational, and low-pressure shopping experience
- use tablets and mobile point of sale systems to assist in sales transactions
- maintain and reset the showroom floor as needed
- assist customers with loading mattress purchases onto their vehicles
- meet and interact with customers to understand their needs
- participate in training programs and continuous learning opportunities
