As a Retail Sales Consultant at Mattress Warehouse, you will play a vital role in the company’s mission by helping customers find the perfect mattress and bedding products to enhance their sleep quality. Leveraging the exclusive bedMATCH® diagnostic sleep system, you will offer tailored shopping experiences based on 18 different measurements and personalized recommendations, transforming customers' sleep satisfaction. The role involves confidently selling premium products using a tried and proven sales process combined with advanced technology such as tablets and mobile point of sales systems.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • availability to work evenings, most holidays, and weekends
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • strong customer service orientation
  • teamwork and a positive attitude
  • basic proficiency in technology usage
  • physical ability to reset showroom floor and assist with loading mattresses
  • willingness to complete comprehensive paid training

Job Qualifications

  • experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
  • ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • bilingual skills in English and Spanish or other languages a plus
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds and assist customers physically
  • enthusiasm and a high-energy attitude
  • familiarity with mobile point of sales technology beneficial

Job Duties

  • assist customers in selecting premium mattress and bedding products using the bedMATCH diagnostic sleep system
  • provide a relaxed, low-pressure, and educational shopping experience
  • utilize state-of-the-art technology including tablets, mobile point of sales, and the exclusive bedMATCH system
  • reset the showroom floor and maintain store appearance
  • assist customers with loading their mattress purchases onto their vehicles
  • confidently apply the proven sales process to meet and exceed sales goals
