The Sales Counter/Driver Associate role at Keeling Company is a crucial position integral to the daily operations in each branch. This hands-on role demands versatility, involving customer service interactions, warehouse support, and local delivery responsibilities. The ideal candidate is motivated, knowledgeable, and energetic, able to manage their time effectively in a fast-paced environment. As branches are staffed by small teams of 3-4 people, associates are cross-trained across multiple functions, fostering flexibility and a spirit of shared responsibility. This collaborative setup allows every team member to play a significant role in ensuring efficient branch performance and exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting customers in person and over the phone, answering their queries about product features, pricing, and after-sales services. You will use the company’s ERP system to enter orders, prepare inventory for pick-up or delivery, assist with merchandising and inventory management, and uphold the company's brand standards for cleanliness, atmosphere, and customer service quality. The role also involves local deliveries, ensuring timely and safe transportation of products to customers. Furthermore, continuous product knowledge development through company-sponsored training programs is a key aspect of staying current and providing the best service possible.

Keeling Company provides a supportive work environment with full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Employees benefit from comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance with HSA matching, along with short and long-term disability plans, life insurance, and a 401k retirement plan with company matching. Paid holidays, paid time off, and paid on-the-job training contribute to work-life balance and skill development, and there are clear paths for career advancement within the company. This position also complies with all Department of Transportation regulations for non-CDL operators, ensuring safety and legal compliance in delivery operations.

Keeling Company values diversity and is an equal-opportunity employer, welcoming applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
