The company emphasizes a diverse and inclusive workplace where every employee is valued as an individual, fostering an inclusive culture that respects diversity and dignity. Johnson & Johnson's Medical Devices sector includes DePuy Synthes, which boasts one of the most comprehensive orthopaedics portfolios worldwide. DePuy Synthes focuses on specialties such as joint reconstruction, trauma, craniomaxillofacial, spinal surgery, sports medicine, and digital surgery, providing solutions that deliver both clinical and economic value to healthcare systems. Their trauma care solutions address a wide range of trauma injuries, incorporating both traditional and minimally invasive techniques.

This Sales Associate position in Springfield, Illinois, specifically within MedTech Sales focusing on Clinical Sales to Surgeons, offers a commission-based income model with a bi-weekly draw, underscoring performance-based opportunities. The role primarily involves providing clinical and customer support in hospital environments, ensuring exemplary customer service and product knowledge to support sales objectives effectively. Sales Associates work closely with surgeons and healthcare providers, guiding them through clinical applications and ensuring optimal use of DePuy Synthes products during procedures. This position suits candidates who thrive in dynamic clinical environments, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and possess solid technical knowledge of surgical instruments and protocols. Candidates should be prepared for travel that may include weekends or overnight stays and should either reside or be willing to relocate to the Springfield area.

Johnson & Johnson is committed to equal opportunity employment, encouraging veterans and individuals with disabilities to apply. The company also supports accommodations for candidates with disabilities throughout the recruitment process, emphasizing a respectful, transparent, and supportive applicant experience. Following the planned separation of the Orthopaedics business into a standalone company, DePuy Synthes, employees will transition and be governed by new employment policies under the DePuy Synthes brand.
