Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree or medical certification
- Minimum 2 years of professional and/or related experience or minimum 4 years of professional and/or related experience
- Ability to work in a lab or operating room environment
- Valid driver’s license issued in the United States
- Ability to travel including weekend and overnight travel
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Strategic thinking and problem solving abilities
- Business acumen proficiency
- Efficient, organized and self-motivated
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Preferably technical product knowledge of surgical instruments and protocols
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree or medical certification with relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional and/or related experience for associate degree holders
- Minimum 4 years of professional and/or related experience for others
- Recently transitioned from active military duty
- Ability to work in a lab or operating room environment
- Valid driver’s license in the United States
- Ability to travel including weekends and/or overnight stays
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory
- Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing and strategic thinking skills
- Problem solving and business acumen
- Efficiency, organization, self-motivation, positivity and proactivity
- Preferably strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols and solutions
Job Duties
- Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers
- Support product conversions with new customers
- Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room through clinical and product knowledge
- Ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes products by presenting and demonstrating them
- Attend surgeries and assure proper equipment availability
- Provide Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation
- Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance
- Manage hospital billing and purchase orders
- Share customer, procedural and marketplace insights with other teams
- Prepare sales reports and documents
- Maintain, track and deploy equipment and assets in assigned area
- Ensure promotional materials are presentable
- Ensure DePuy Synthes services meet quality standards
- Focus on customer satisfaction and retention
- Differentiate DePuy Synthes products by providing unique insights
