This position is pivotal in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within the food industry. The Sales Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with food distributors and restaurant clients. Job Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience in manufacturing or distribution
- 2+ years of experience in the food industry preferred
- Experience working with food distributors and/or restaurant clients
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to present products to groups effectively
- Willingness to travel domestically including outside of California
- Valid driver’s license required

Job Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and restaurant clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach and networking
- Expand and manage existing accounts to drive sales growth
- Conduct regular client visits within assigned territories including out-of-state travel
- Present products and propose solutions based on customer needs
- Support product demonstrations tastings trade shows and sales presentations
- Provide timely and high-quality customer service
- Track and maintain accurate records of sales activities forecasts and customer interactions
- Gather market intelligence and support sales strategy development
- Collaborate with internal teams and distributor partners to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in weekend work and travel as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
