Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform cash register operations accurately
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Understanding and adherence to safety procedures
- Ability to follow planogram and merchandise presentation guidelines
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Capability to stock and rotate merchandise
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 55 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable with frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Able to handle equipment such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, and rolltainers
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
- Availability for part-time employment

Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers
- Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer’s purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary
- Follow company merchandise processes
- unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays
- Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room, and help set up sidewalk displays
- Assist the Store Manager with other duties assigned to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets
- Handle merchandise and equipment safely such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies, U-boats, and rolltainers
- Maintain proper lifting techniques with frequent lifting up to 40 pounds and occasional lifting up to 55 pounds
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment with moderate noise levels
- Occasionally perform climbing tasks using step ladders up to six feet
