The role being offered is for a Sales Associate position in one of the conveniently located retail stores. This is an entry-level role ideal for individuals looking to gain retail experience, work directly with customers, and contribute to the smooth operation of the store. The Sales Associate acts as a critical point of contact for customers, ensuring they find the products they need and enjoy a positive shopping experience. This position includes handling transactions through operating the cash register, maintaining merchandise presentation, and assisting in store cleanliness and organization. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to perform frequent walking and standing
- ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, push, and pull
- ability to handle merchandise and equipment such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, merchandise containers, dollies, U-boats, and rolltainers
- capability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 55 pounds occasionally
- ability to climb up to six feet using a step ladder
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise level
- willingness to occasionally work in outside weather conditions
Job Qualifications

- ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides

Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers
- operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer purchases, collect payment and make change, bag merchandise, assist customers with merchandise
- follow company merchandise processes including unpacking, stocking, restocking, and rotating merchandise on shelves and building merchandise displays
- clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, clean restrooms and receiving rooms
- help set up sidewalk displays
- perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction
- protect company assets
