The Retail Sales Associate role at Mattress Warehouse is a dynamic position that offers an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while making a positive difference in customers' lives. This role centers around providing exceptional customer service and expert guidance as customers navigate their mattress purchases. Utilizing Mattress Warehouse’s exclusive bedMATCH® diagnostic sleep system, associates help customers find the perfect mattress tailored to their individual needs, based on 18 measurements and personalized recommendations. This technology-driven system enhances the customer experience by ensuring tailored, solution-oriented assistance geared towards improving sleep quality.
Sales Associates are expected to confidently represent and sell premium mattress and bedding products by following a tried and proven selling process. The position demands individuals who are motivated, results-oriented, and enthusiastic with a high-energy, team-oriented attitude. The working schedule typically involves 4-5 days a week, including evenings, most holidays, and weekends, offering between 40 to 55 hours of work weekly. This retail schedule ensures associates are present to meet customers whenever they shop, maintaining high levels of service and support.
Physical stamina is essential as the role involves lifting up to 75 pounds, resetting showroom floors, and assisting customers with loading mattress purchases. Comfort with using modern technology including mobile point of sales (POS) systems and tablets is also a crucial part of everyday duties.
