This role is offered through an independent contractor franchisee of 7-Eleven, Inc., which means the franchisee is responsible for all employment decisions and operations in the store. As part of a local franchise, employees are supported with training programs designed to help them succeed, regardless of prior experience. This position offers flexible full-time and part-time opportunities to fit varying schedules and is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those beginning their retail or food service careers. Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years old
- able to handle cash transactions responsibly
- willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- capable of following health and safety guidelines
- able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- communicate effectively in English
- complete training programs provided by the franchise
- authorized to work in the country
Job Qualifications
- positive attitude and willingness to learn
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- reliable and punctual
- basic math skills for cash handling
- physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing and lifting
- prior experience in cashier, customer service, retail, or food service is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- meet and exceed customer expectations on every visit
- maintain a clean and safe environment to ensure the store is always customer ready
- prepare and present food items including coffee
- handle cash and fuel transactions accurately
- promote the rewards loyalty program
- follow proper health code guidelines
- multitask including repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
