The Sales and Operations Management Trainee position at Penske presents an exciting entry-level opportunity for recent graduates with a bachelor’s degree. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Internship or related customer-facing experience preferred
  • Results oriented with good time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license required with ability to operate 26’ box truck
  • Willingness to travel and work required schedules
  • Ability to maintain driver qualification file including DOT physical and motor vehicle records checks
  • Completion of background check and drug screening
  • Ability to work in a safe and alert manner
  • Regular and predictable attendance essential

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role preferred
  • Results oriented with attention to detail and good time management skills
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to drive 26’ box trucks
  • Willingness to travel within district and work flexible schedules
  • Ability to maintain a current driver qualification file as required by DOT regulations

Job Duties

  • Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts including many of the Fortune 500
  • Manage a large inventory of world-class and nationally recognized vehicles balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and dynamic workspace
  • Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sales and operational goals
  • Utilize Penske’s technology and sales processes to drive business growth
  • Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and safety standards
