The role available at ASM Global is integral to maintaining and expanding the company’s stronghold in local sales and marketing. This position focuses on servicing local sales clients by providing prompt and effective responses, managing contracts, scheduling site tours, and preparing comprehensive proposals for prospective events. The candidate will utilize CRM software to track leads efficiently and collaborate closely with event coordinators, food and beverage teams, and operations staff to ensure seamless execution and success of events hosted at the venues.

Furthermore, this role encompasses significant marketing responsibilities critical to driving engagement and building brand awareness. The individual will be responsible for creating compelling marketing content tailored for various social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. This involves filming, editing, and posting engaging videos such as testimonials and staff spotlights that highlight client experiences and team member contributions. Apart from digital marketing, the role also involves developing on-site marketing materials related to food, beverage, and events, managing branded merchandise, and organizing internal video shoots that showcase the vibrant facility and upcoming events.

To thrive in this dynamic role, the candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, creative design skills, and competence using various social media and video editing tools. The position requires at least two years of experience in event management or marketing, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. The role is physically demanding, involving prolonged standing and walking but does not expose the employee to harsh weather conditions.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of event or marketing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Creative design experience
  • Proficient in social media and editing software or apps
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk unconditionally

Job Duties

  • Respond to local sales clients in a timely manner
  • Manage locals’ sales contracts and agreements
  • Schedule and conduct site tours for prospective local sales clients
  • Provide proposals for prospective events
  • Enter and track leads in Momentus CRM/Event software
  • Provide food and beverage proposals
  • Attend networking events to build relationships and generate leads
  • Coordinate with event coordinators, food & beverage, and operations teams to ensure successful events
  • Create marketing content for social media platforms, including filming, editing, and posting videos
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Create testimonial and staff spotlight videos to highlight client experiences and team members
  • Develop on-site marketing materials for food & beverage and event displays
  • Assist with design in-house marketing materials and promotional graphics
  • Upload and manage upcoming events on our website
  • Order and inventory branded merchandise and marketing materials from outside vendors
  • Organize and coordinate internal video shoots, encouraging staff participation to showcase the facility, team, and upcoming events
  • Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with brand standards and target audience
  • Assist with planning and managing internal staff events, including holiday parties and after-hours gatherings
