Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in event sales or event management
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage budgets and coordinate with multiple departments
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in event management within hospitality settings such as hotels, restaurants, or event venues
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive relationships
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies and upselling techniques to enhance revenue opportunities
- Familiarity with banquet operations, catering services, and contract management processes

- Outstanding communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, and team members
- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant environments is highly desirable

Job Duties
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attract new clients and retain existing ones, boosting overall revenue

- Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms that align with budget goals
- Coordinate with catering, banquet staff, and other departments to deliver seamless event experiences that exceed guest expectations
- Manage event budgets by tracking expenses, optimizing resource allocation, and upselling additional services or upgrades
- Promote events through targeted marketing efforts and social media campaigns to maximize attendance and visibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and maintaining clear communication throughout the planning process
