The Sales and Event Coordinator role at Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is a vital part of the Commercial team, providing crucial administrative support and ensuring smooth coordination throughout the booking process. This full-time position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who will assist the Commercial Director/Director and Sales Manager by managing communications, preparing contracts and event orders, and maintaining various sales and catering file systems. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and industry-specific software like Delphi and Docusign, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, the Sales and Event Coordinator acts as a key liaison for incoming sales and marketing inquiries, coordinating between departments to ensure seamless event planning and execution. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Delphi software
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle telephone calls professionally
- Availability to work at least 30 hours per week
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed

Job Duties
- Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls to Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, and Executive Office
- Prepare accurate written correspondence including letters, contracts, reports, banquet event orders, schedule of events, printed menus, and emails using MS Word, Delphi, Docusign
- Maintain Delphi accounts, including traces, creating and updating bookings, manipulating events in the function diary and the preparation of banquet event orders
- Maintain the various Sales and Catering file systems, both electronic and paper distribution, including Account files, Addendums, Contracts, Vendor Resource files and Resumes
- Operate a variety of electronic and manual office resources
