Job Description

The Kroc Center is a leading community and recreation facility dedicated to enriching the lives of our members and visitors by providing exceptional services and spaces for social, cultural, and corporate events. Established to serve as a vibrant hub for community engagement, the Kroc Center hosts a diverse range of activities including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, corporate meetings, and various special events. With state-of-the-art facilities, including video and sound equipment, the center ensures that every event is memorable and seamlessly executed. As a full-time establishment with scheduled hours that rotate, including some weekends, the Kroc Center operates on a 39-hour workweek schedule to accommodate the dynamic needs of the community it serves.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This pivotal role focuses on the outside sales of the facility, playing an integral part in promoting and managing event rentals. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to guarantee that all accommodations, including technological needs such as video and sound equipment, are met to the highest standards. The Outside Sales Coordinator will partner closely with various departments within the Kroc Center, such as the Program Department for event logistics and the Membership and Guest Services Coordinator to arrange tours and open houses, facilitating strong community ties. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage rental agreements, process payments, and ensure compliance with all rental terms and conditions.

In addition to managing the sales and event coordination aspects, this position supports the Sales & Events Manager by developing sales plans, identifying prospective clients, and setting appointments to maximize facility utilization. The physical demands of the job are moderate, requiring daily walking tours of the facility and standing, walking, lifting, and carrying items up to 25-50 pounds. The majority of work is conducted indoors within an office environment, providing a balanced mix of physical activity and administrative responsibilities.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary and comes with a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 403B savings plan, and paid life insurance. Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and have five years of sales experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

As an Equal Opportunity Employer, the Kroc Center welcomes veterans and individuals with disabilities to apply and contribute to the continued success and growth of the organization. Joining our team means becoming part of an established institution committed to fostering community spirit and delivering top-quality event services.
