Your daily responsibilities will include collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to coordinate every aspect of event planning, from the initial concept to flawless execution. You will negotiate contracts with various vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible terms while upholding service excellence.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in event planning or sales within hospitality or related industries
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Knowledge of banquet and catering operations is preferred

  • Availability to work in person at the event location
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and coordinate a diverse range of events including corporate functions, banquets, fundraisers, and promotional activities
  • Manage all aspects of event planning from initial concept through execution including venue selection, catering arrangements, décor, and logistics
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, caterers, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote events, increase attendance, and boost revenue through upselling opportunities
  • Oversee budgeting for each event, ensuring cost control while maximizing guest experience and organizational goals
  • Coordinate with hospitality teams to deliver exceptional guest services ensuring smooth operations during events
  • Maintain detailed records of contracts, budgets, guest lists, and post-event evaluations for continuous improvement
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the planning process
