Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in sales or catering sales preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Must be proactive and dynamic in approach
- Must demonstrate professionalism and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Experience in catering sales or related sales roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate contracts and close sales
- Knowledge of event planning and coordination
- Familiarity with hospitality or hotel sales environment
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage complex social events
- Proficiency in customer relationship management
Job Duties
- Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
- Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
- Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
- Sell and influence both internal and external clients
- Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues to determine the best solution
- Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process
- Direct event logistics to affected departments and team members responsible for event execution
- Serve as the primary contact and be responsible for the client experience throughout event phases
