Job Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years hotel sales experience
  • bachelor's degree preferred

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years hotel sales experience
  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • strong wedding, social and corporate event knowledge
  • exceptional people skills with ability to build trust and relations
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • proficient networking abilities
  • strong clerical skills including typing and filing
  • ability to qualify potential clients and negotiate sales
  • good understanding of competition and geographic market
  • extensive knowledge of food and beverage etiquette and service standards

Job Duties

  • maximize revenues in catering and assigned group segments through account management
  • solicit and generate new business by executing assigned action plans
  • monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details
  • track and communicate event particulars including room blocks, meeting space, special concessions, and contract clauses
  • oversee setup and implementation of events and meetings
  • communicate with departments to ensure proper servicing of accounts
  • meet with and greet clients, conduct property tours, and promote hotel facilities and services
  • handle inquiries from calls, booking platforms and site visits
  • issue accurate menus and pricing in coordination with management
