Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

- bachelor's degree preferred
- strong wedding, social and corporate event knowledge
- exceptional people skills with ability to build trust and relations
- strong organizational and time management skills
- proficient networking abilities
- strong clerical skills including typing and filing
- ability to qualify potential clients and negotiate sales
- good understanding of competition and geographic market
- extensive knowledge of food and beverage etiquette and service standards
Job Duties
- maximize revenues in catering and assigned group segments through account management
- solicit and generate new business by executing assigned action plans
- monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details
- track and communicate event particulars including room blocks, meeting space, special concessions, and contract clauses
- oversee setup and implementation of events and meetings
- communicate with departments to ensure proper servicing of accounts
- meet with and greet clients, conduct property tours, and promote hotel facilities and services
- handle inquiries from calls, booking platforms and site visits
- issue accurate menus and pricing in coordination with management
