Job Duties
- Maximize revenues in catering and group segments through account management and new business solicitation
- Monitor and manage pre-event, event, and post-event details including room blocks, meeting space, special concessions, group history, contracts, event orders, and billing
- Maintain strong knowledge of wedding, social, and corporate event planning specifics
- Oversee or assist in capturing group business related to meeting room space and standalone groups
- Proactively manage assigned target meeting room and group segments
- Analyze market data using STAR Reports and calculate forecasts to meet budgeted revenues
- Meet and greet clients, conduct property tours, promote hotel facilities and services
- Supervise and attend event setups ensuring flawless execution
- Coordinate with departments for accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Handle inquiries from clients through calls, booking platforms, site visits, and prospecting calls
- Issue menus and pricing in coordination with Director of Sales, General Manager, and Food & Beverage Manager
