Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
- Perform repetitive motions such as chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- Capability to walk stairs and use step ladder
- Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and use lifting equipment for heavier loads
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently in kitchen
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in loud, fast-paced environment
- Work in varying temperature zones including hot kitchen and cold storage
- Exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals
- Use of personal protective equipment and training for safety
- Awareness of hazards like hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of management experience in restaurant or hospitality industry
- Experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurant preferred
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong customer service abilities
- Experience managing budgets and financial targets
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
- Attention to detail regarding food quality and cleanliness
Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist Restaurant Manager in leading and developing the team
- Manage quality control and compliance with health and safety standards
- Control budgets and financial performance
- Create a safe, clean, and efficient environment
- Resolve customer complaints and maintain high service standards
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment
