Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
  • Perform repetitive motions such as chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • Capability to walk stairs and use step ladder
  • Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and use lifting equipment for heavier loads
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently in kitchen
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in loud, fast-paced environment
  • Work in varying temperature zones including hot kitchen and cold storage
  • Exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals
  • Use of personal protective equipment and training for safety
  • Awareness of hazards like hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of management experience in restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurant preferred
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Experience managing budgets and financial targets
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • Attention to detail regarding food quality and cleanliness

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Assist Restaurant Manager in leading and developing the team
  • Manage quality control and compliance with health and safety standards
  • Control budgets and financial performance
  • Create a safe, clean, and efficient environment
  • Resolve customer complaints and maintain high service standards
  • Foster a positive and respectful work environment
