Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods 4-8+ hours with periodic breaks
- Perform repetitive motions using hands and arms frequently
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- Capability to walk stairs and use step ladders as needed
- Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, using assistance or equipment for heavier loads
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a kitchen environment
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work in fast-paced, loud, and varying temperature environments
- Use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols
- Adaptability to indoor and outdoor work conditions
- Awareness of hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Experience with fast-casual or quick-service restaurant operations preferred
- Proven leadership ability to develop and manage a team
- Strong customer service skills with conflict resolution
- Financial acumen including budgeting and cost management
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Strong attention to detail regarding food quality and safety standards
Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Assist Restaurant Manager with team leadership and staff development
- Manage financial performance including budgets, cost control, and achieving financial targets
- Ensure quality control, food safety, and compliance with health and sanitation regulations
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for guests and employees
- Handle customer service issues and resolve complaints promptly
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment
