Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods 4-8+ hours with periodic breaks
  • Perform repetitive motions using hands and arms frequently
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • Capability to walk stairs and use step ladders as needed
  • Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, using assistance or equipment for heavier loads
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a kitchen environment
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to work in fast-paced, loud, and varying temperature environments
  • Use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols
  • Adaptability to indoor and outdoor work conditions
  • Awareness of hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Experience with fast-casual or quick-service restaurant operations preferred
  • Proven leadership ability to develop and manage a team
  • Strong customer service skills with conflict resolution
  • Financial acumen including budgeting and cost management
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail regarding food quality and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Assist Restaurant Manager with team leadership and staff development
  • Manage financial performance including budgets, cost control, and achieving financial targets
  • Ensure quality control, food safety, and compliance with health and sanitation regulations
  • Create and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for guests and employees
  • Handle customer service issues and resolve complaints promptly
