Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
  • perform repetitive motions including use of hands and arms
  • frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching
  • capability to walk up and down stairs and use step ladders
  • occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly with proper equipment or assistance for heavier loads
  • ability to move quickly and efficiently around the kitchen
  • compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • work in a loud, fast-paced environment
  • exposure to varying temperature zones including hot kitchen areas and cold storage
  • use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety practices
  • adaptability to indoor and outdoor tasks
  • awareness of potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors

Job Qualifications

  • at least two years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • strong background in operations, staff management, and customer service
  • experience in a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant is preferred
  • proven leadership skills with ability to develop and manage team performance
  • strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • financial acumen with experience managing budgets and controlling costs
  • effective problem-solving abilities
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • attention to detail especially regarding food quality and safety standards

Job Duties

  • oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • assist the Restaurant Manager with team leadership and development
  • maintain quality control of food and service standards
  • manage financial performance including budgeting and cost control
  • create and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for guests and team members
  • resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
  • train and mentor staff to promote a positive and productive work environment
