Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
  • Perform repetitive motions including frequent use of hands and arms
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder
  • Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly with proper equipment or assistance for heavier loads
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently around kitchen areas
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in loud, fast-paced environments
  • Capacity to work in varied temperature zones including hot kitchen and cold storage areas
  • Use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety training
  • Adaptability to indoor and outdoor job conditions
  • Awareness of hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants preferred
  • Proven leadership ability to develop and manage a team
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve complaints
  • Financial acumen in managing budgets and controlling costs
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address operational issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager with team leadership and staff development
  • Manage quality control and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Drive financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving financial targets
  • Create and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for guests and team members
  • Resolve customer complaints and maintain a positive guest experience
  • Schedule and organize multiple priorities, tasks, and staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations
