Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods between 4 to 8 hours with breaks
- Perform repetitive motions including chopping, stirring, and carrying items
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- Capability to walk up and down stairs and use step ladders
- Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly with proper safety measures
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently within the kitchen
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Work in a loud, fast-paced environment
- Exposure to varying temperatures including hot kitchen areas and cold storage
- Exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals
- Use and training in personal protective equipment
- Awareness of temperature fluctuations and safe food handling
- Tasks involve indoor and outdoor work including curbside delivery and exterior maintenance
- Awareness of potential workplace hazards such as hot surfaces and wet floors
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience managing budgets and controlling costs
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Good organizational skills
- Attention to detail in food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with team leadership and development
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards related to food, cleanliness, and safety
- Manage financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and achieving profitability targets
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Resolve customer complaints and maintain superior customer service standards
