Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods between 4 to 8 hours with breaks
  • Perform repetitive motions including chopping, stirring, and carrying items
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • Capability to walk up and down stairs and use step ladders
  • Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly with proper safety measures
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently within the kitchen
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Work in a loud, fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to varying temperatures including hot kitchen areas and cold storage
  • Exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals
  • Use and training in personal protective equipment
  • Awareness of temperature fluctuations and safe food handling
  • Tasks involve indoor and outdoor work including curbside delivery and exterior maintenance
  • Awareness of potential workplace hazards such as hot surfaces and wet floors

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience managing budgets and controlling costs
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail in food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager with team leadership and development
  • Monitor and enforce quality control standards related to food, cleanliness, and safety
  • Manage financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and achieving profitability targets
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Resolve customer complaints and maintain superior customer service standards
