Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
  • Perform repetitive motions including frequent use of hands and arms
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
  • Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, using lifting equipment or assistance as necessary
  • Ability to move around the kitchen quickly and efficiently
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment
  • Capability to work in varying temperature zones including hot kitchen areas and cold storage
  • Ability to handle exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals
  • Use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety training
  • Adaptability to indoor and outdoor environments
  • Awareness of potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Strong background in operations, staff management, and customer service
  • Experience in a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant is highly preferred
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop teams and manage performance
  • Excellent customer service skills with problem-solving abilities
  • Financial acumen in managing budgets and controlling costs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently
  • Attention to detail regarding food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager with team leadership, quality control, and financial performance
  • Create and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for guests and team members
  • Lead and develop the restaurant team, manage performance, and foster a positive work environment
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and achieve financial targets
  • Resolve customer complaints and maintain guest satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
