Job Description
This opportunity is offered by a prominent restaurant chain that is actively seeking highly motivated individuals to become future leaders within their organization. The company is recognized for its commitment to quality service and excellence in the food service industry, providing guests with a memorable dining experience. As a reputable player in the restaurant sector, it offers a structured environment designed for career growth and development, making it an appealing workplace for aspiring managers looking to build a long-term career in hospitality management.
The role being offered is the Salaried Manager Training Program, a comprehensive and immersive training initiative aimed at equipping candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed as restaurant managers. The position starts with an approximately five-week paid training program where participants receive hands-on experience across various operational facets, leadership development, and direct mentoring. This foundational program focuses on preparing candidates to effectively manage daily restaurant operations upon completing the training successfully. Post-training, candidates transition into management roles with responsibilities including supervising staff, overseeing financial transactions, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring excellent customer service. This program is ideal for those with no prior experience in restaurant or management roles, particularly dependable and coachable individuals who are eager to grow and take on leadership responsibilities.
During the training and subsequent management role, candidates will become proficient in interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and developing staff to meet company standards. Leadership skills will be honed through tasks such as delegating responsibilities, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and enforcing operational policies and procedures. Additionally, managers will oversee cash handling, inventory management, and daily sales tracking to maintain the financial health of their assigned location. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential as the role requires planning daily schedules and ensuring the restaurant complies with cleanliness and service excellence standards. This role offers a dynamic work environment with hours scheduled from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily, requiring individuals who are ready to work consistently within this time frame.
The company provides a supportive work culture focused on career advancement through structured training programs and ongoing professional development. Benefits include free meals while on duty, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days of continuous employment, voluntary life insurance options, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and additional voluntary insurance options such as accidental death and critical illness coverage. The organization values its employees and invests in their future success, making this a highly attractive opportunity for individuals aiming to launch or advance their management careers in the restaurant industry. Applicants with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training or related experience are encouraged to apply and grow with this respected establishment.
