Job Description
Humble GC, LLC dba Golden Corral is a proud franchise organization operating under the renowned Golden Corral brand, widely recognized for its inviting buffet-style dining experience. Golden Corral is an established restaurant chain that has built a reputation for providing a diverse range of high-quality, fresh, and delicious food options to guests in a welcoming and family-friendly environment. Our franchise location reflects the core values and standards of the Golden Corral brand, focusing heavily on customer satisfaction, food safety, and operational excellence. As a company, we are committed to maintaining superior service, operational efficiency, and a clean, attractive environment that encourages repeat visits and positive guest experiences. Our team is the heart of this commitment, and we continuously seek enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic individuals to join us in delivering top-tier hospitality and cuisine.
The position of Food Prep Person at Golden Corral is a vital role responsible for ensuring that the freshest fruits and vegetables are expertly prepared to maintain the quality and appeal of our Cold Choice Buffet. This role directly impacts our guests' perception by upholding the standards of presentation, taste, and freshness that Golden Corral is known for. The Food Prep Person will engage in various food preparation tasks including cutting, slicing, peeling, and organizing produce to ensure that every buffet item is both visually appealing and delicious. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to follow Golden Corral's product specifications and recipes accurately.
In addition to food preparation, the Food Prep Person plays a key role in maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities include managing inventory through the Prep Production Guide and Display Cooking Prep Production Guide, ensuring optimal product yield, labeling and rotating all produce and prepped items to comply with food safety standards, and properly storing all food items in approved containers. This structured approach helps to minimize waste, reduce spoilage, and maintain the high quality of products served.
Cleanliness and organization are critical parts of this role as well, with duties encompassing the cleaning and maintenance of prep areas, equipment, and storage spaces to meet stringent local health department regulations and company hygiene standards. Additionally, the Food Prep Person will assist buffet attendants in keeping the buffet area neatly stocked and clean throughout meal periods, contributing directly to a positive guest dining experience.
Guest service capabilities are also important in this role, as the Food Prep Person may perform administrative tasks and interact with guests during meal periods to help ensure that their needs are met efficiently and courteously. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are passionate about food quality and service excellence.
As an equal opportunity employer, Humble GC, LLC is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where all qualified applicants receive fair consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. This franchise operates independently, and hiring decisions are managed directly by our franchise team. We encourage applicants who are eager to contribute to our thriving restaurant community and grow their careers with a trusted brand to apply. Join us at Golden Corral, where every meal served represents our promise of quality, hospitality, and a memorable dining experience.
