Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in restaurant service preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and politely with guests
- basic math skills
- physical ability to lift and carry trays
- familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- flexibility to work various shifts
- positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Job Qualifications
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of the restaurant trading area
- have knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
- possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate point-of-sale system
- be able to safely lift and maneuver trays of food frequently
Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them
- inform guests of specials and menu changes
- make recommendations guests will enjoy
- answer questions about food beverages and restaurant services
- take food and beverage orders and enter them into point-of-sale system
- deliver food and beverages promptly to guests
- perform side work at start and end of each shift as required
- maintain clean service areas
- monitor guests dining experience and ensure satisfaction
- prepare final bill present check accept payment and process credit card charges
- assist fellow servers and bartenders as needed
- thank guests and invite them to return
- fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation as directed
