Among its prestigious properties is the iconic Arizona Biltmore, located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. Known as the "Jewel of the Desert" since its opening in 1929, the Arizona Biltmore underwent a $150 million restoration and reopened in May 2021. This luxury resort spans 39 acres and features more than 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet of banquet space, nine diverse food and beverage outlets, a luxury spa, and seven swimming pools, including a 65-foot waterslide. As part of the LXR Hotels & Resorts collection by Hilton, Arizona Biltmore offers bespoke service and unique personal adventures to its guests, complemented by exclusive travel benefits for team members.
Within this vibrant environment, the Barback position is a vital role supporting the bars, particularly at the Saguaro Pool, an adult pool setting designed for guests 21 and older. This tranquil yet contemporary venue includes eight private cabanas, five daybeds, and a bar serving carefully crafted cocktails and eclectic cuisine. The Barback is responsible for assisting bartenders in the preparation, service, and maintenance of bar and beverage operations. This includes managing beverage inventories, setting up glassware and equipment, ensuring the bar and surrounding areas meet health and cleanliness standards, and replenishing supplies efficiently.
The role is well suited for individuals seeking to grow in the hospitality industry, whether they are newcomers or seasoned professionals. High school graduates are preferred, and prior food and beverage experience is advantageous but not mandatory. The position also requires candidates to have a Food Handlers Card. Employees in this role benefit from Pyramid Global Hospitality's supportive work environment, extensive training, and the company's inclusive culture that celebrates diversity. With competitive compensation based on skills, experience, certifications, and location-related cost of labor, the role offers an excellent opportunity to join a leading hospitality organization committed to employee growth and guest satisfaction.
