Job Description
Six Flags is a renowned amusement park company known for providing thrilling rides, entertainment, and exceptional guest experiences across multiple parks nationwide. As a leader in the entertainment and leisure industry, Six Flags is committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. The company maintains a dynamic and fast-paced working environment where employees are encouraged to grow professionally while contributing to memorable guest experiences through various food and beverage operations.
This role focuses on the oversight of all food and beverage areas within the park to ensure stringent food safety guidelines and sanitation standards are consistently met. The Safety and Food Quality Supervisor position is pivotal in performing daily audits of food stands, kitchens, and production spaces, ensuring compliance across all points of sale and service interactions. This involves meticulous monitoring of food handling, storage, preparation, and presentation, as well as evaluating the overall cleanliness and safety of the working environment. The supervisor works closely with other departments, such as maintenance and safety teams, to address any concerns promptly, mitigate risks related to foodborne illnesses, and maintain a safe environment for both guests and employees.
A strong component of the role includes preparing detailed reports for management, offering weekly analyses and actionable improvement suggestions. This allows the park to continuously enhance processes and uphold top-tier food safety standards. The position requires ongoing communication and collaboration with internal management and external authorities including health inspectors and certification bodies like EverClean and the Department of Health. The role also demands active participation in training programs — either holding a current ServeSafe certification or obtaining it within 30 days of employment — to support food safety education and compliance throughout the park.
This is a full-time role that requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as necessary to align with business operational needs. It emphasizes adherence to Six Flags' corporate policies including attendance, grooming, conduct, and safety protocols. Embracing these guidelines ensures a professional, respectful, and safe working atmosphere which complements the company’s mission to deliver high-quality entertainment that guests can trust.
Joining Six Flags in this capacity offers an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about food safety and quality to make a tangible impact by protecting guest health, supporting operational excellence, and elevating overall guest satisfaction. Employees will be part of a vibrant team culture that values safety, continuous improvement, and outstanding hospitality, working in iconic amusement environments that are both fun and dynamic.
The compensation package and employment specifics will be in line with industry norms and Six Flags’ standards, providing competitive wages and benefits that recognize the crucial role this position plays within the company.
