This position requires a proactive leader with a strong commitment to continuous safety improvement, a creative approach to employee engagement, and the ability to mentor safety professionals and operational teams in the field. The Safety Manager Leader will be integral in driving safety culture while ensuring risk assessments, hazard identifications, and control measures are meticulously applied and actively improved upon. They must be adept at interpreting regulatory safety compliance, conducting audits and inspections, and leading incident investigations with robust follow-through on corrective and preventive controls. Regular travel of 25% to 75% nationwide is expected to facilitate site visits, training, and collaborative safety initiatives.

This opportunity provides a rewarding career with an employer that values employee well-being and professional development. Osmose Utilities offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees that includes medical insurance, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, critical illness plans, a Health Savings Account with company contributions, a 401(k) retirement plan with excellent company matching, and paid time off. The role demands excellent communication skills, proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications and Teams, as well as a valid driver's license and US work authorization. Candidates with certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) are highly preferred, along with solid knowledge of OSHA regulations focused on electric power and construction environments.
