This job opportunity is with a restaurant that is independently owned and operated by a franchisee, not directly by McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald’s logos, food products, and branding while running the restaurant, but it operates as a separate entity from McDonald’s USA. Employment decisions, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling, are handled solely by the franchisee, who is the employer for this position. McDonald’s USA does not manage these employment matters nor receives employment applications or participates in the hiring process. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous managerial experience required
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to develop others
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and service
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a General Manager
- Experience managing high volume locations
- Preferred experience in quick service restaurants
- Background in hospitality or retail is a plus
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to set goals and achieve results
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities
Job Duties
- Run a profitable restaurant
- Ensure restaurant meets McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
- Set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
- Lead and coach Department Managers
- Follow up on Department Managers’ progress
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
- Provide coaching and guidance to improve departments
