Job Description
Bretz RV & Marine is a well-established, family-owned dealership that has been serving communities in Montana and Idaho since 1967. Originating from a small service station and rental business, the Bretz family transitioned into the RV and marine industry by selling and renting camping trailers, gradually growing into a significant regional dealership network with five locations and nearly 400 employees. This growth has been accompanied by a dedication to quality customer service, a strong community presence through sponsorships and charitable events, and a supportive work environment focused on employee development and long-term career opportunities. Bretz RV & Marine is known for representing a wide range of top RV and boat manufacturers and prioritizes a welcoming workplace culture with a hospitality mindset and team-oriented approach.
This position is within the Cleaning & Reconditioning Department at Bretz RV & Marine, a crucial role that ensures the presentation and condition of the dealership's inventory remain impeccable. The team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of a diverse array of vehicles including RVs, boats, and other dealership assets. This hands-on role involves detailed cleaning of incoming new units, spotlessly maintaining the showroom and lot appearance, and preparing sold vehicles with thorough detail-level cleans before delivery to customers. The role also extends to supporting vehicle upkeep beyond the inventory, including washing customer tow vehicles, company loaner vehicles, and sales golf carts. The team occasionally supports offsite events like RV and boat shows, aiding in setup and maintaining cleanliness at external venues such as fairgrounds and event centers.
Candidates for this role should be dependable, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic with a positive and professional attitude. Familiarity with vehicle cleaning tools and products is a plus, though not mandatory, as training is provided. This role is seasonal with full-time availability preferred, and offers a pathway to year-round employment for high performers. Work schedules typically align with dealership operating hours, focusing on day shifts from Monday through Saturday, with flexibility for Saturday shifts as needed. Compensation starts at $16.50 per hour with the possibility of additional performance-based incentives, leading to an average earning of $20+ per hour for full-time employees.
Joining this team provides an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, family-oriented business that values work-life balance, team collaboration, and career growth. Employees benefit from a comprehensive compensation package including competitive pay, medical, dental and vision plans, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, profit sharing, employee discounts, and unique perks such as access to on-site daycare at select locations and use of company camping equipment. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their workmanship, appreciate attention to detail, and want to contribute to the overall customer experience in the booming RV and marine industry.
