The Runner position is critical within the restaurant and beer garden’s team structure. As a Runner, you will play an essential role in ensuring that the service runs efficiently by supporting servers and bartenders throughout dining and beverage service. The position demands quick movement, anticipation of both guest and team needs, and a high level of organization and cleanliness. Responsibilities include delivering food and drinks, clearing and resetting tables, stocking service stations, and assisting with opening and closing duties. This role requires maintaining excellent communication with all team members to sustain a seamless service experience for guests.
Ideal candidates for the Runner role are those who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments where attention to detail and teamwork are paramount. This position offers opportunities for growth within the restaurant and beer garden and requires availability for evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts in alignment with business volume. Physical stamina is necessary as the job involves prolonged standing and walking, as well as lifting and carrying trays or boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Job Duties
- Embody and model the company’s core values through teamwork, communication, and professionalism
- support servers and bartenders to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience
- deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction
- maintain clean and organized tables by clearing used items and resetting efficiently for new guests
- keep service stations fully stocked with napkins, glassware, silverware, plates, and other necessary supplies
- refill water glasses and maintain water carafes throughout service
- assist with bussing and pre-bussing tables to maintain a tidy dining area
