The role being offered is that of a Runner, a critical position within the restaurant's service team. The Runner acts as the supporting backbone to servers, bartenders, and the management team by helping maintain a smooth and efficient service flow throughout the restaurant and beer garden. This job involves quickly delivering food and beverages, keeping tables and service stations clean and organized, and anticipating the needs of both guests and personnel to facilitate a seamless dining service. The Runner's responsibilities include bussing tables, restocking supplies, assisting with opening and closing duties, and maintaining a professional appearance in uniform. This role requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying trays or boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, and effectively communicating in a fast-paced and often noisy environment.

This full-time or part-time position offers an opportunity to work during evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays depending on business volume. While prior experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this role accessible to enthusiastic candidates ready to contribute to a dynamic hospitality team. Certifications like TIPS/TAMS or a Food Handler certificate are preferred, or there is a willingness to obtain them upon hire. The position demands a proactive attitude, excellent teamwork, organization, and dedication to providing top-notch customer service. Job Duties

  • Embody and model the company’s core values through teamwork, communication, and professionalism
  • support servers and bartenders to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience
  • deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction
  • maintain clean and organized tables by clearing used items and resetting efficiently for new guests
  • keep service stations fully stocked with napkins, glassware, silverware, plates, and other necessary supplies
  • refill water glasses and maintain water carafes throughout service
  • assist with bussing and pre-bussing tables to maintain a tidy dining area
  • ensure all sections remain clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
  • assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down stations, brunch service and coffee service
  • follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies to protect guests and team members
  • maintain a professional appearance and arrive in clean, complete uniform
  • communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure smooth service flow
  • anticipate team and guest needs - help where needed, stay proactive, and keep service moving
  • be available for evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as required by business volume
