Soho House is an internationally renowned private members' club and hospitality group catering to creatives across the globe. Known for its unique blend of comfort, style, and exceptional service, Soho House operates a collection of clubs, hotels, and restaurants that provide an exclusive and vibrant social atmosphere. The company prides itself on fostering a welcoming environment that supports creativity, collaboration, and community amongst its members and guests. Established with the vision of delivering distinctive and personalized experiences, Soho House continues to expand its reach while maintaining a commitment to high standards and quality service.
At Soho House, we are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The role of a Food Runner is pivotal in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our members and guests by bridging the gap between the kitchen and the service floor. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for assisting servers with a breadth of tasks including preparing tables, serving orders promptly, providing detailed explanations of meals, and supporting the delivery of high-quality hand plated service. This position requires an individual who thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, demonstrating professionalism, calmness, and approachability at all times.
In this role, you will work closely with servers, the Executive Chef, and management to ensure that food orders are plated, expedited, and delivered according to Soho House’s esteemed standards. You will also be expected to anticipate the needs of guests and team members efficiently, offering solutions and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining service. Attention to detail is critical, especially concerning health and safety policies, including allergy procedures, to guarantee the wellbeing of our clientele. You will be an essential part of a team unified by the shared goal of providing excellent service in an elegant and bustling environment.
The Food Runner role is ideal for those passionate about hospitality and eager to cultivate their skills in a prestigious, fast-paced setting. With opportunities for career progression and development domestically or internationally, Soho House supports employees through rigorous training programs and mentorship. Successful candidates should exhibit hospitality, enthusiasm for customer service, and respect for colleagues and guests. Moreover, flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays, is required to meet the demands of our vibrant hospitality calendar.
Joining Soho House means more than just taking a job — it means becoming part of a global community committed to innovation, excellence, and positive change. We offer competitive compensation packages with comprehensive benefits and perks such as health care, retirement plans, paid time off, and ongoing learning and development opportunities. Food Runners at Soho House also enjoy team meals, team-building events, and a supportive atmosphere that encourages professional growth and personal wellbeing.
