The Runner position within Legends Global’s Food and Beverage department is a vital role responsible for supporting concession stands by efficiently delivering food and beverage orders from the stand to guests during games and special events. Reporting to the Premium or Concessions Manager, this non-exempt hourly role offers candidates a chance to contribute to the smooth and timely service experience that defines Legends Global’s operations. The role requires excellent customer service skills, a positive and energetic approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. The Runner assists with suite orders, setup and breakdown of catering service areas, logging beverage stocks, and maintaining cleanliness by collecting trash and cardboard after events. This position plays an essential part in ensuring event-day operations run flawlessly and that guests receive exceptional service at high-profile venues such as Van Andel Arena, Acrisure Amphitheater, and Amway Stadium located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Candidates with at least six months of food running experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to complete necessary food and alcohol service training will find this role appealing as an entry point in the hospitality and event services industry. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • provides friendly, courteous customer service
  • ensures the timely setup and delivery of all suite food and beverage orders
  • delivers and assists in the placement of all event day food and beverage suite orders with the suite pantry and ensures timely delivery of such items
  • assists with the breakdown of food items and service equipment in the suites and other catering areas after the event
  • assists with the logging of all suites’ beverage stock in the appropriate logbooks after each event
  • collect cardboard and trash at the end of each event
  • assists with the any pre stocking for the suites
  • assists with the setup in any aspect of the catering space as directed by management
  • follows all event-service directions as directed in the pre function meeting
  • breakdown of any aspect of the catering space as directed by management
